So if you’ve read the title or you’re here specifically to learn more about Jin’s musical talents, playing the flute is something you can do in Ghost of Tsushima.
It’s very easy to perform: simply swipe left on the touchpad. Jin will then pull out his flute and play whichever tune you have assigned as default from the Accessories section of the Gear menu.
There are four different tunes that Jin can play, with each changing the weather to a different condition. To unlock new tunes, you’ll need to locate Singing Crickets around the open-world. These are typically found in cemeteries.
Remember, you can set the Guiding Wind to locate the nearest undiscovered Singing Cricket if you spend a Technique Point on the appropriate upgrade from the Exploration tree.
As for why you’d change the weather in the first place, well, there’s not honestly all that much point to it other than enjoying the beauty of Tsushima island under different weather conditions.
