The Last of Us 2 has finally arrived and players will once again follow the story of Joel and Ellie, continuing on from the first game. In the first game, it was possible to unlock additional clothes for both Joel and Ellie to wear on their trip across the country. It allowed you to add your own personal flair to their adventure. As such, some players may be wondering if you can change outfits in The Last of Us 2.
Are There Alternate Clothes & Outfits?
Unfortunately, while in the first game you could change the look of each character, there’s no way to do the same thing in The Last of Us 2.
The closest alternative you’ve got is to check out the various character models in the Extras menu.
Here, you’ll be able to purchase and unlock various character models with Points earned by progressing through the game, finding collectibles, earning trophies and completing the game on higher difficulties. These points are also used to purchase Concept Art found within the Extras menu.
All you need to do is select the character model you want to unlock and press and hold X. You can then press X again to view and rotate the models. You cannot use the different outfits and styles for Joel and Ellie in-game, though.
