After a long wait, The Last of Us 2 is finally out in the wild, allowing players to continue their journey with protagonists Joel and Ellie after they’ve settled down in the Jackson community. This game will have you visit Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, and as you might expect, there are a few environmental puzzles to get to as well. What the Main Gate Code Is in The Last of Us 2
When you make your first approach to Seattle, you’ll have to get past a large gate to let your horses through. The first gate is easy enough to open once you hook it up to the generator, but the second gate requires a code in order for you to operate it.
First off, disconnect the generator cable from the first gate, then throw it over the fencing so that it can reach the second power box. Once you’ve connected it, you can operate the main gate itself. But as we mentioned before, you’ll need a code to get it to open.
If you’ve explored the surrounding area thoroughly enough, you should’ve found a note with a bunch of four-digit codes for various gates in the vicinity. However, only one of them can be used for the main gate itself. We’ve included a screenshot of the codes down below for your perusal.
The main gate code you want is the top one: 0512. Key that in at the control panel, and Ellie will automatically open up the gate, allowing Dina and the horses to come through. From there, you can continue onward towards Seattle.
