Following the ‘The Device‘ event that took place earlier this week, a lot of Fortnite’s map has now been flooded and remains underwater. Players can now get towed around the map on Loot Sharks, and can explore new Places of Interest, too. Here’s what the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 map looks like:

For comparison’s sake, we’ve also included what the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 maps looks like below.

As you can see, the map’s general look and shape has remained the same, just a lot of it is now submerged in the water making it seem a lot different than it once was. The southwest section of the map in particular has seen the biggest damage from the flooding, with Slurpy Swamp and the Rig seemingly almost entirely disappearing under the surface of the water.

In other casualties, we can also see Dirty Docks has disappeared under the water, while The Agency has been rebuilt and returns with a slightly new and improved look. You’ll also notice that the Yacht that Deadpool took over last season has moved from the northeast corner of the map, right into the central north section of water.

That’s everything you need to know on what Fortnite’s brand-new map looks like for Season 3. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki. You can also check out even more of our Fortnite content linked below.
