Warzone: Has Plunder Been Removed? Answered

warzone, plunder

Plunder has been in and out of the Warzone playlist ever since the free-to-play mode launched earlier in the year. If you’re wondering where it is, here’s everything you need to know about whether Plunder has been removed in Warzone.

Plunder is a great compliment to the standard battle royale modes because it doesn’t affect your K/D and helps you level up weapons quickly. On top of that, it’s just a fun alternative, not being as serious as the standard modes.

Has Plunder Been Removed From Warzone?

At the time of writing, on June 16, Plunder is not playable in Warzone, having been removed from the playlist shortly before.

It was removed to make space on the list of modes after Warzone Rumble was added as part of Season 4 and a free multiplayer weekend took place shortly after. The solo and quad battle royale playlists were hidden slightly, requiring you to enter a sub-menu, but they’re still there. Plunder wasn’t as fortunate, being removed entirely.

That’s not to say that it will be gone forever. In fact, you shouldn’t have too long to wait for it to actually return. As you can see from the tweet below, which is from a Co-Design Director on the game, it will be back soon and was just removed to make room for the new mode and multiplayer trial.

Now, it has been confirmed that Plunder will return on Thursday, June 18. Keep checking in game on that day and you’ll be able to jump back in at some point.
