Catherine: Full Body, the definitive new edition of Atlus’ acclaimed story-driven puzzler is making its way to Nintendo Switch later this summer, July 7. A new trailer, appropriately titled Fall Into Temptation, has been published earlier today to celebrate the announcement.
Full Body’s release on Switch comes with a new feature over its release on other platforms; specifically, the options that reference Atlus’ Persona series. Here are the details, sent to Twinfinite via a press release:
Name | Voice Actor | Description | Persona Reference |
Healing Flower | Kana Hanazawa | For those who need a pick-me-up. Her gentle, flowery voice will soothe you like nothing else can. | JP VA of Marie in Persona 4 Golden |
Saucy Kouhai | Ayana Taketatsu | For those that like being messed with. You’re going to get teased, but you know you like it. | JP VA of Labrys in Persona 4 Arena |
Intelligent Beauty | Marina Inoue | For those who appreciate intellect. She’s full of wit and will lure you in with her mysterious charm. | JP VA of Female Protagonist in Persona 3 Portable |
For those who haven’t yet experienced Catherine, its blend of saucy storytelling and challenging puzzle gameplay is certainly unique. The story centers around commitment-phobe Vincent, who is at a crossroads of taking the next step in his long-term relationship or leaving it all behind.
Succumbing to the temptation of a new romance, Vincent then finds himself trapped in a recurring nightmare of a crumbling tower of puzzle blocks he must climb to survive to see another day.
Pre-orders for Catherine: Full Body on the Nintendo eShop now or pre-order from a local retailer to claim a bonus Sheep Keychain.

Twinfinite reviewed the PS4 version of Catherine: Full Body last year and had mixed feelings about the new content. Scoring it 3.5/5, the review concludes:
“Catherine: Full Body really didn’t need a brand new character to keep things feeling fresh; in fact, that only detracted from the original experience and somehow made it worse.
If you can look past that, though, there are new story elements here that help to enhance and develop its existing characters to make them feel more relatable. If not, well, at least the puzzles are awesome.”
