As such, some players may be wondering how long Minecraft Dungeons is and how many levels there are.

How Long Minecraft Dungeons Takes to Beat

In total, running through the game on its ‘Default’ difficulty, we beat it in eight hours. That being said, you can definitely complete Minecraft Dungeons faster if you play in co-op. With a friend by your side, you can clear out enemies faster and generally won’t find the game as challenging.

It’s also worth noting that our eight-hour playthrough did include some repeating of the final level, as it’s particularly tricky on your own. We’d say anywhere between six and 10 hours is a safe bet for your final playtime.

Minecraft Dungeons isn’t designed to be a ‘one and done’ game, though. After completing it on its ‘Default’ difficulty, players can then take on the ‘Adventure’ and ‘Apocalypse’ difficulty modes for better rewards, more gear and artifacts, and even tougher enemies.
