This is the time of year when Ubisoft takes to the internet to announce the next installment in the annual Assassin’s Creed franchise. So while we haven’t seen a trailer or press release, a leaked image has revealed what could be the next protagonist in the series.
An image of the offices in Ubisoft Montreal, as seen above, shows a large wall poster of an unfamiliar assassin. Because this character has never been seen in any of the other Assassin’s Creed properties, we are led to assume that he is the unannounced led of Assassin’s Creed V. Although the photo is of poor quality, many believe that the item in the character’s right hand is a revolver (a weapon that appeared in the late 1830’s) Does this give us the time period of Assassin’s Creed V?
