Halloween is long gone, so is the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event that had vault hunters fighting ghosts for a chance at spooky loot. Fortunately, a new event has started and there is more loot to be had. Here is how to start the Revenge of the Cartels event in Borderlands 3.

Starting the Revenge of the Cartels Event in Borderlands 3

It needs to be said that even if you don’t take the steps to actually start the event, it’s still going on. You’re still going to have Cartel enemies pop up when you’re fighting normal human enemies. They seem to be a rather regular spawn.

For that reason it’s to your advantage that you start the event mission so you at least benefit from their presence instead of running into the enemies when out farming and have to seek them out on purpose later.

Just as with the Bloody Harvest event, Maurice is your go to. You will find him in the same place on Sanctuary, right next to Hammerlock’s room on the top floor where you used to have to go to handle Mayhem mode.

He will give you the mission called Revenge of the Cartels: Ultraviolet Nights in which you are tasked with killing Cartel Members to figure out the location of their hideout. Once you start the quest you are all set.
