There are 12 different shells you can pick up in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These are all listed below, alongside their sell prices to Timmy and Tommy at Nook’s Cranny.

Keep in mind that if you sell shells via the Drop-Off Box in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Nook brothers will take a 20% fee from the total sell value for the convenience. Any Bells from the things you sell at the Drop-Off Box will be added immediately to your Bank Account.

Whether or not you want to pick up some like the Cowrie or Porceletta is up to you considering their low sell prices. However, if you’ve got a spare few minutes, you can quickly pick up all the shells on your beaches and sell them before carrying on with whatever else you were doing.
