Earlier this week, a Twitter user named Kyoosh uploaded an Animal Crossing character maker to a site called Picrew and people loved the designs and praised Kyoosh for making it all happen but unfortunately the tool was shut down yesterday for reasons that are unknown.
Luckily, if you still wanted to dabble in creating an Animal Crossing villager version of yourself, I managed to find a different one on Meiker.io that was created by pvrimv.
You can generate your dream villager and mess around with a couple of different options like hairstyle, glasses, shirts, pants, the background color, and it serves as a great option for those looking to change up their profile picture while we for the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I am typically absolutely terrible at creating animated versions of myself (don’t look at my Mii) using these types of tools but I feel like I did a moderately good job with this one:
