Today, during a livestream from Tokyo, Square Enix had a couple of interesting announcements related to future content coming to Final Fantasy XIV.
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida revealed two portraits created by lead concept artist Yosuke Mogi that will soon be available “pretty soon” portraying Aymeric and Estinien. Players will be able to hang the portraits in their in-game houses.
You can see them below.
On top of that, we learn that for the first time in a long time Square Enix will release a bunch of new dyes for the game. While Yoshida-san can’t remember exactly how many, they will come out “very soon.”
There will be some that will be easy to acquire and others that will be rare. Yoshida-san hopes that a lot of these colors will be hues that players have been looking forward to, for instance, certain reds.

Incidentally, we have info on the upcoming Little Ladies’ Day seasonal event and a deeper look at Mogi-san’s art.
A few weeks ago we also learned that the game has passed 18 million registered users.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PS4 and PC. Last month, Xbox boss Phil Spencer pledged to help bring the game to Xbox One as well.
