Cragoclaw is one of the midway bosses you’ll come across in Journey to the Savage Planet that’ll put your combat abilities to the test. If you’re struggling to break its tough shell and proceed on your adventure, you’re in the right place. Here’s how to beat Cragoclaw in Journey to the Savage Planet.
Journey to the Savage Planet Cragoclaw Boss Fight
The main aim of the game in the Cragoclaw boss fight is to aim for its glowing antennae. You’ve basically got to shoot them all until they no longer glow. Do this three times and the boss battle will be over, and you’ll be able to carry on exploring AR Y-26.
Of course, Cragoclaw isn’t just going to sit there and take its beatings. You’ll need to make sure you’re avoiding incoming attacks, too.
There are two different attacks it will use. The first is a mortar-esque attack that sees Cragoclaw pepper whatever platform you’re on with projectiles. To avoid this, jump between the different platforms in the arena. They even have grapple points you can use if you’re struggling to make the jumps or just make a mistake, too.
The other attack Journey to the Planet’s Cragoclaw will likely use against you is a horizontal line of flaming projectiles. Depending on how high or low this is when it’s coming at you, simply crouch or double jump over it to avoid taking damage.
Outside of that, there’s not a whole lot more to tell you on this boss fight. Make sure you’re constantly on the moving jumping and grappling between platforms, and make sure you use the two Vitality Plants located towards the entrance to the arena that you came in via.
