Each season, Bungie adds new ritual weapons into Destiny 2 (formally pinnacle) to entice players to grind specific game modes in return for a weapon with unique perk combinations. In Season of the Dawn, Bungie introduced the Buzzard Vanguard ritual weapon sidearm. Here’s how to get it.
How to Get Buzzard Vanguard Ritual Weapon in Destiny 2
To start the quest to get the Buzzard Vanguard ritual weapon, you must first head on over to the tower and visit our leader and friend, Commander Zavala, and take on the quest: “Anything That Moves.”
You’ll notice (obviously) that because this is a Vanguard ritual weapon quest, all your objectives will need to be completed within Strikes. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- % of Final Blows with Sidearms.
- 50 Airborne Sidearm Final Blows.
- % of Points from Strike Activities.
Because we’re dealing with AI enemies that you should be able to easily trash at this point, especially within Strikes, you shouldn’t have too much trouble completing all of these objectives. It will just take a little bit of time.
Once you’ve completed all three of those, return to Commander Zavala to receive your reward.
Perks
The Buzzard Vanguard ritual weapon sidearm, like other similar guns, is a unique weapon. Particularly so because it contains a perk that is fairly rare as of the launch of Season of Dawn: the Osmosis perk.
What Osmosis does is change the element damage type of the weapon, in this case, for the Buzzard Vanguard Ritual Weapon, it is to match your current subclass whenever you use your grenade until you stow the weapon.
Buzzard is a kinetic weapon, so in a way, you can carry two energy weapons at the same time when you take advantage of the perk.
Here are the complete list of perks:
- Adaptive Frame
- Extended Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Outlaw or Fourth Time’s the Charm
- Osmosis or Swashbuckler
- Masterwork: Stability
