How to Get the Symmetry Exotic Scout Rifle in Destiny 2

Symmetry is one of the new Exotic weapons added to the game, and it can be obtained in one of two ways. The first is by purchasing the Season Pass, and the second is by leveling up the free Pass.

If you purchase the Season Pass for 1,000 Silver, you’ll unlock Symmetry immediately, as it’s in the very first tier of rewards that you get from it.

However, if you don’t feel like spending real money on it and would rather grind for the gun the ‘natural’ way, you’re in luck. The free Pass in Destiny 2 also allows you to unlock it later on down the line, but you’ll need to put in a lot more time into the game.

Specifically, you’ll need to reach rank 35 of the free Pass to unlock Symmetry. Ranking up the free Pass is done simply by playing the game, killing enemies, opening chests, and participating in activities like Strikes, Nightfall, Crucible, Gambit, and the Raid.

Destiny 2 Symmetry Perks

Here are the special perks that you get with Symmetry:

Revolution: This weapon fires full auto. Hold reload to swap to Arc Seeker mode. Arc Seekers track towards enemies you target.

Dynamic Charge: Precision hits build up Dynamic Charge. Swapping to Arc Seeker mode increases damage and partially reloads the magazine based on the number of charges.

To recap, here’s how to get Symmetry in Destiny 2:

  1. You can purchase the Season Pass for 1,000 Silver to get the Symmetry Exotic Scout Rife in the first tier of rewards.

  2. Alternatively, you can rank up the free Pass to level 35 to unlock it.
