Ukie’s weekly chart tracking for Oct. 14 – 20 is in and FIFA 20 has stayed top for a fourth consecutive week. The anticipated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launch on Nintendo Switch also impressed in a big way, entering the charts at number four and leading the way for what was a big week for Nintendo overall.

EA’s latest iteration of the popular soccer sim recorded the biggest UK launch of 2019 at the start of the month, displacing Borderlands 3 when it did and remaining unmoved even after Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s release two weeks ago. Whether PS4 exclusive MediEvil’s release can break the trend will be interesting to see next week.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s launch on Nintendo Switch over four years after its original debut on PS4, Xbox One, and PC at the fourth spot is mightily impressive, too. CD Projekt Red noted earlier this year in its financial report that sales of the game continued to be a primary revenue driver for the publisher and its arrival on Switch seems destined to keep that momentum going.

Other Nintendo Switch games also had big weeks, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which rather randomly shot back into second spot — perhaps Mario Kart Tour’s launch on mobile devices earlier this month has had a knock-on effect?

Overwatch marked yet another already popular game finally arriving on Nintendo’s hybrid, and it also seems to have done pretty well. The hero shooter came in at number 11.

Elsewhere, Ring Fit Adventure motion control game had a decent launch, debuting at fifth spot; and Minecraft, Super Mario Maker 2, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Pokemon: Let’s GO, Pikachu! all remain in the top 20.
