The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 has kicked off, with its fancy new map, upgradable weapons, ability to fish, ride motorboats, swim, and a whole lot more. There’s also, of course, a new Mission for players to complete, bringing a bunch of challenges to the table. The final one of these tasks players to ‘Search hidden ‘F’ found in the New World Loading Screen.’ Well, let’s tell you where to find the hidden ‘F’ location in Fortnite.

First things first, you’ll need to have unlocked the New World loading screen before you can go and find the hidden ‘F’ somewhere on Fortnite’s map. To do this, simply continue to progress through the New World Mission, which is a bunch of incredibly simple challenges.

Once you’ve unlocked the loading screen, it’s then a case of trying to find the clue to the location of the ‘F’ somewhere on the loading screen. Fortunately for us, it’s quite an easy one, with the F being a pale blue color just on a hill to the right of the main town area shown in the loading screen.

To find the hidden F in Fortnite, you’ll need to head to Lazy Lake. It’s right in the center of the map, so you shouldn’t find it too difficult to spot. Once you do, you then want to place a marker on the hill just to the east of the ‘E’ in ‘LAKE’ on your map.

It’s right between this named location and the stream that runs to the east of it. Once you’ve landed here, look for two rocks and a bunch of trees.

The hidden ‘F’ on Fortnite’s map will show up when you land and are within this vicinity. Simply walk over to it and press Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, Y on Switch, and E on PC to collect it.

Congratulations, you’ve just completed the New World Mission in Fortnite Chapter 2.
