Every year, there are certain skill moves that are overpowered in FIFA. Last year it was La Croqueta and a few are making themselves known this year. So that you can fool defenders with a quick change of direction, here’s everything you need to know about how to do the lateral heel to heel flick skill move.
It’s quite a new skill move, that few people have used before, but it’s much like the standard heel to heel flick in terms of animation. Instead of quickly moving the ball forward to get a speed boost, you move it sideways to change direction a little.
Also, unlike the La Croqueta, which is similar in terms of effect, it’s only a three star skill move, which means that most midfield and attacking players will be able to do.
How to Do Lateral Heel to Heel Skill Move in FIFA 20
The input is similar to the standard heel to heel flick, but instead of moving the right stick in front of where your player is going and then behind them, you do it to their right and then left (or left and right if you want to juke in the other direction).
You also have to do this while holding the left bumper on your controller. Below is a break down of the inputs on each console.
Platform | Lateral Heel to Heel Input |
PlayStation 4 | Hold L1 and flick right stick left to right/right to left. |
Xbox One | Hold LB and flick right stick left to right/right to left. |
Switch | Hold L and flick right stick left to right/right to left. |
