Today Sony Interactive Entertainment hosted the PlayStation Live Show 2019 from Osaka, and Capcom presented plenty of gameplay of its upcoming game Project Resistance.
The game was played live on stagem and provided another look at the asymmentrical multiplater which is the major selling point of the game.
While four players play survivors with entirely different skills and abilities, a fifth works on hindering theiradvance, trying to kill them before they escape.
Whenever a survivor is downed, their allotted time to run away is lowered, and if it reaches zero, the “mastermind” wins.
You can watch it below.
When I played the game at Tokyo Game Show 2019, Capcom mentioned that the gameplay is very much experimental at the moment, which is why balance may change by when the game reaches the players.
It’ll be interesting to see how it evolves, but it was quite fun even in this early stage, and playing the mastermind was a blast.
For more details, you can expect my hands-on preview very soon.
In the meanwhile, you can also enjoy the latest trailer and the original teaser.
At the moment the game is coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and doesn’t have a release window. Yet, a closed beta will be hosted betweem October 4 and October 9.
