First and foremost, we get the release date, which will be February 21, 2020. Of course, the game will come only for PS4.

The video provides another look at the cast, and at beautiful environments, before becoming rather tense.

We see story cutscenes and even quite a bit of gameplay. As as a final crowning moment, Joel makes his comeback, after having been kept behind the curtain since the reveal of the game. It’s nice to see you, buddy.

You can enjoy the trailer below, and see if it doesn’t make you cringe and smile at the same time.

The announcement was foreshadowed by intense teasing from Naughty Dog, but at long last now we know.

To see more about the game, you have to go back in time quite a while. More precisely, the previous gameplay reveal dates all the way back to E3 2018.

The Last of Us Part II appears to be extremely dramatic. Looks like Creative Director Neil Druckmann wasn’t joking when he teased “one of the most complicated and heart-wrenching scenes” Naughty Dog has ever worked on.
