Daemon X Machina lets you fine-tune your very own mech, called an Arsenal, and take it on a number of different combat missions. While you’re undertaking misisons you’ll gain something called Mercenary Rank, so here’s how to raise Mercenary Rank and what it does in Daemon X Machina.
How to Raise Mercenary Rank & What It Does in Daemon X Machina
In Daemon X Machina, you play as a mercenary working in the Oval Ring, defending humanity from corrupted AI. When you start the game, you’ll have the Mercenary Rank of D.
By raising your Mercenary Rank, you’ll gain access to new missions specific to that rank, although in co-op you can take on missions above your own current rank.
Luckily, it’s pretty easy to raise your Mercenary Rank, as all you need to do is complete all of the main missions for that rank, everything under the “Offer Missions” tab.
Free Missions, on the other hand, are simply optional missions you can undertake to make more money, and you’ll unlock more for each Mercenary Rank you gain.
You don’t need to complete any Free Missions if you want to, as you can just play through the Order Missions, but we wouldn’t recommend that.
On one hand, the Free Missions can shake up gameplay a little bit, like letting you pilot a giant Immortal Arsenal.
On the other hand, it also helps you earn a little extra money to spend on skills, new equipment, or whatever else you want.
Just play through the story and you’ll unlock more missions in no time.
To Summarize,
- In order to raise your Mercenary Rank, you’ll need to play through the main “Offer Missions.”
- Simply complete all of the Offer Missions for the rank you’re on and you’ll unlock the next rank, along with new Offer and Free Missions.
That’s everything you need to know about how to raise Mercenary Rank and what it does in Daemon X Machina.
