Last month Bandai Namco revealed that the driving license episode will be featured in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but there is more to it than a simple mean of transportation.
At Gamescom, we spoke with producer Ryosuke Hara, who teased some kind of content focusing on the car.
Yesterday, we met Hara-san once more at a preview event at Bandai Namco’s headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and he finally revealed what kind of content we can expect.
He explained that the team is developing a time-attack minigame using the aircar.
On top of that, he added that Goku won’t simply get a car automatically upon acquiring his license. He has to go through Bulma and collect the required materials to develop it.
Looks like we’ll have to work for our sweet in-game ride, but then we’ll be able to enjoy it beyond simply traveling around.
Just a few minutes ago, we learned that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 17, 2020. It will include the Majin Buu saga from Dragon Ball Z, and will have three special editions, two digital and one physical.
