Viper Tobi-Kadachi is a difficult fight, but we are here to help make it more manageable. The first step to any good monster fight is preparation.

Viper’s biggest weakness is thunder so be sure to equip you best thunder weapons. It is almost completely resistant to ice so un-equip any ice items you may have on you.

Viper Tobi-Kadachi is susceptible to all status effects such as sleep, stun, and blast. You pretty much have all of the tools at your disposal when trying to dispatch or capture this monster.

After you’re prepared and head out for the hunt you’ll need to know something about this monster. It can easily inflict poison damage on you with its tail, so always keep on eye on where its tail is at all times.

It moves swiftly so you’ll need to dodge and tire it out. After a lot fo thrashing around Viper will need to rest which is your time to strike. Get in as many hits before it starts darting around again.

Rinse and repeat this strategy until it is defeated or captured.

So to recap here is a quick step by step:

  1. Prepare

Stock up on thunder weapons and ditch any ice weapons you have. Also eat a cooked meal to gain some stat boosts.

  2. Dodge the tail
