Granblue Fantasy Versus Percival

EVO 2019 is in full swing, and as announced a few days ago, Cygames and XSEED Games hosted a series of exhibition matches for Granblue Fantasy Versus.

During the series of matches, we saw the first actual gameplay of the newly-announced character Percival, with a match starring Cygames Beast’s own GamerBee versus Infexous.

You can check it out below. Unfortunately, the quality of the stream wasn’t very good, but it should still serve the purpose of showing Percival’s moves.

If you’re unfamiliar with Percival, here’s an official description:

“He travels to lands far and wide to learn the secrets of statecraft, all in hopes of founding his dream country. Before he set out on a journey to achieve such lofty goals, he and Lancelot served as officers in the same order of knights, studying under the same master. He received his nickname, the Lord of Flames, from the noble way he wields his blazing long sword. Those who come face-to-face with him find themselves either entranced or terrified by his abilities.”

You can also check out another video announcing the previous character Ladiva, and the video that came before featuring Lowain.

The game will be released for PS4 this year but doesn’t yet have a firm launch date.

Incidentally, the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. If you want to give it a try to prepare for the release of Granblue Fantasy Versus, you can read my detailed guide on how to create an account, install the game, and play in English.
