Real Madrid manager and France legend, Zinedine Zidane, has been confirmed as the cover star for the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 20 and he will be one of the new icons coming to Ultimate Team.
The Standard and Champions Edition covers were revealed last week with Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard and Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk one the two covers, respectively.
When those covers were revealed, EA Sports said that news on the Ultimate Edition cover would come today and released a teaser image. After they followed Zidane on social media that day, fans began to guess that he’s be the star in question for the cover.

Some Twitter users even found an image of the France World Cup winner that perfectly matched the outline of the teaser image posted by EA Sports. Now, it has been confirmed and Zidane will also be one of the new Icons in FIFA 20’s Ultimate Team mode.
Over the last few days, a few new Icons have been revealed, including Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Ronald Koeman, Didier Drogba, and Andrea Pirlo. Zidane is the most recent to be revealed in the run up to the full Ultimate Team reveal tomorrow, July 31.
The Ultimate Edition of FIFA 20, which Zidane is on the cover of, includes the following:
- One Loan Icon Players
- A set of special edition FUT kits
- 24 Rare Gold Packs for Ultimate Team
- Three days early access
- One Untradeable Ones to Watch Player Item
We are yet to see how many versions of Zidane we’re likely to see in FIFA 20, nor have we seen any of his stats or positions on any potential cards. With Prime Icon Moments being added in FIFA 19, it’s possible that Icons will have four different versions in FIFA 20.
The base edition of FIFA 20 will come to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Sept. 27.
