For those wondering whether this next iteration of the iconic series is packing enough content to justify the price tag, fear not: leading the brains of the titular resistance, players will battle the alien invasion across levels numbering over one hundred.

There are 110 to be exact, which, in combination with multiple difficulty levels, means that there’s plenty of replayability here as you work your way to collecting different weapons, vehicles, and various gadgets to take on the game’s most challenging missions.

Of course, each of the levels has different objectives, too. And while these mostly revolve around exterminating anything that moves, there’s some strategy to be had in selecting different loadouts so that you’re able to tick these off.

You’ll also have different character classes to experiment with and the option to couch co-op with a buddy. So short on content and value, Earth Defense Force 5 is not.

That should give you everything you need to know about how many missions there are in Earth Defense Force 5. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.

While a mainline sequel is expected moving forward, the sixth Earth Defense Force game”leaked” back in late March was, in fact, an April fools prank.
