Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Preload & Unlock Times

You can actually preload Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 now, once you’ve purchased the game from the Switch’s eShop store. In fact, you have been able to since June 11, which is actually pretty early for a game of this magnitude. Of course, you won’t be able to play it yet, but it’s ready to preload.

Once you complete the purchase, the game will begin to download and will appear on you home screen. However, it’ll be locked until it releases fully.

As for when you’ll actually be able to start playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance once you’ve preloaded it, it’s not entirely clear. According to Nintendo, “you won’t be able to play it until July 19,” but they haven’t revealed exactly when on that day.

It’s likely midnight in your timezone, as is usually the case for big releases, but that’s not confirmed. Of course, as soon as we know the exact time, wherever you are across the world, we’ll be sure to update you here.
