With the weather being so nice outside, July is often the quietest month of the year for video game releases. However, July 2019’s summer is actually full of exciting titles.

The PlayStation 4 highlights begin with the Shadowbringers expansion for Final Fantasy XIV which adds new story content, quests to complete, and challenges to tackle.

Later that week, the next EA Originals title, Sea of Solitude, launches. You play as Kay as she explores a mysterious world that’s submerged in water.

As the adventure progresses, you meet a range of dangerous creatures and complete puzzles that reveal more about the world.

Then, following a load of indie games in the middle of the month, the new co-op Wolfenstein game, Youngblood, releases.

It’s a spin-off for the series that sees you play as one of B.J. Blazkowicz’s twin daughters as you search for the series’ iconic protagonist. Purchasing the game also allows you to play with someone else who doesn’t own it.
