Today Compile Heart announced that its JRPG Arc of Alchemist will be released for Nintendo Switch.
The game was previously released in Japan only for PS4 in February, while the western launch has been recently delayed to the winter.
At the moment the announcement is officially related only to Japan, and we’ll see if it’ll extend to the west. The local Switch release will happen on October 10, 2019. The game will cost 7,200 yen plus taxes on a cartridge and 6,400 yen digitally.
The Switch version will also include new features, like the ability to swap controlled characters as opposed to controlling only the protagonist directly, tweaks to the lock-on feature for smoother battles, and adjustments to the tutorials so that they don’t interrupt the flow of the game.
More adjustments include a review of skills, new items for sale, tweaks to the progression curve, adjustments to item drops and those found on the field, menu changes, and more.
