It’s a Monday, and a new day means another Fortbyte to get your hands on in Fortnite. For Fortbyte 58, players need to ‘use Sad Trombone emote at the north end of Snobby Shores.’ To help clear up any confusion surrounding this, we’re here to break it all down for you.
How to Get Sad Trombone Emote
As we’ve seen a few times already in Season 9, Fortbyte 58 requires players to use a specific emote or cosmetic item in a specific location. For this one, you’ll need to get the Sad Trombone emote which can be unlocked by reaching Tier 47 on the Battle Pass.
To make things easier for you when you’re in a game, you’ll want to head to the Locker page and equip this emote into one of the six different emote slots here. This will make it appear on the first page of your emote wheel in-game, rather than having to search through them all.
Where Fortbyte 58 Is in the North End of Snobby Shores
Once you’ve got the Sad Trombone emote, you’ll want to make your way to the north of Snobby Shores. In particular, you’re aiming for the very north house in Snobby Shores. Once you reach the entrance to where this house used to be, you’ll come across an overturned truck. Use the Sad Trombone emote here, and Fortbyte 58 will become solid and enable you to interact with it.
As always, press Square on PS4, E on PC, Y on Switch, and X on Xbox One to interact with and add Fortbyte 58 to your collection. You’re now yet another step closer to the Utopia skin in Fortnite.
That’s pretty much everything you need to know to get Fortbyte 58 in the north end of Snobby Shores. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Season 9 guide wiki. We’ve also included some other popular Fortbyte guides down below.
