During Microsoft’s E3 2019 conference, it was revealed that one of the most popular real-time strategy titles of all time, Age of Empires II, would be getting a fresh coat of paint with in its Definitive Edition, due to release this Fall on Xbox One and PC, and will simultaneously launch as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, too.
Age of Empires II Definitive Edition will keep everything that fans know and love from the original in terms of gameplay, but will get a fresh lick of paint with 4K visuals and remastered audio. Additionally, the Definitive Edition will also include an entirely new campaign called The Last Khans.

Age of Empires II Definitive Edition will release in Fall and will release on day-one on Xbox Game Pass, as well as PC. It’s also possible to sign up for the beta of the Definitive Edition over at the Age of Empires site here.
