Today Spike Chunsoft released a new gallery of screenshots of its upcoming adventure game AI: The Somnium Files.

The images focus mostly on the investigation part of the game. That’s done through various methods.

Interrogation lets us listen to key witnesses, identify evidence, and deepen our understanding of the case based on the conversations.

We also have special abilities at our fingertips (or better, in our eye, which is a special device named AI-Ball). That includes zooming, thermal imaging, and X-Ray. There are even quicktime events in situations in which it’s important to act quickly.

AI: The Somnium Files will release worldwide for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It was previously supposed to come on July 25, but it has been slightly delayed by a month to September 17 to achieve “the best product possible.”
