The PlayStation Days of Play discount event is returning next month, and there are a boatload of deals to look forward to. These vary from games to consoles to exclusive gear. It’s like PlayStation Christmas!
The discounts will begin rolling in on June 7th, and will end on June 17. That’s 11 days, if you’re good at math, which should give you plenty of time to snag whatever deals you might be interested in.
So what are these deals? There’s a lot to comb through, but perhaps most notable is the price drop on the PS4 Pro, which will go from $399.99 to $349.99 USD during the sale.
Other deals include the following:
- PlayStation VR bundles – starting at $249.99 USD / $329.99 CAD (MSRP)
- DualShock 4 wireless controller (all colors) – starting at $39.99 USD / $49.99 CAD (MSRP)
- Days Gone, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, MLB The Show 19 – starting at $19.99 USD / $29.99 CAD (MSRP)
- PlayStation Hits games – starting at $9.99 USD/CAD (MSRP)
For those unaware, PlayStation Hits is a lineup of older PS4 titles that usually sell for $19.99 USD. With this sale, games like Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, The Last of Us Remastered, and the new Ratchet and Clank will get a 50% discount at $9.99 USD.
The four more recent games (Days Gone, God of War, Spider-Man, MLB The Show 19) will “start” at $19.99, but more than likely only one or two will actually be available at that price. Days Gone is such a recent game, we don’t see it dropping that low in cost anytime soon.
In addition to all these sales, there will be a limited edition Days of Play PS4 console retailing for $299.99 USD. Along the top of the case are the four PlayStation face button shapes embossed in silver; it’s nothing too fancy, but it’s a cool novelty for collector’s nonetheless.
During the event, you can also go the PlayStation Gear site for a bunch of sales on official merchandise from Uncharted, The Last of Us, God of War, and Bloodborne.
Days of Play will run from June 7th to June 17th, and will be ongoing at “select retailers”, according to the PlayStation Blog. Keep your eyes peeled at your local electronics shop for deals on some of the best games of the generation.
