Free-to-play action RPG, Dauntless, has been available on PC for a while but has finally launched fully on consoles too. It’s a fast-paced game that takes place in a world where you head out to take down huge monsters. It’s got a story too that introduces you to other Slayers, but it can be a bit much. If you’re wanting to get to the action as quickly as possible, here’s everything you need to know about whether you can skip cutscenes in Dauntless.
Can You Skip Cutscenes in Dauntless? Answered
Unfortunately, as far as we can tell, there is no way to skip cutscenes in Dauntless.
We have tried pressing and holding all the buttons and nothing has happened. It seems like you’ll just have to sit back and watch all the cutscenes, no matter how much the characters annoy you.
As you explore the world, get started with the story, and come face to face with the behemoths that have begun to take over the world in Dauntless, you’ll be given some story context.
It can be fun, especially due to the cool cartoony aesthetic, but the action is certainly the selling point and you’ll want to get to it quickly.
Of course, just because it’s not a feature now doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to skip cutscenes in Dauntless forever.
The game is pretty new, even though it was in beta for a while, but it is possible that the developers will add the feature to the game as part of an update in the future. If they do, we’ll be sure to update you here.
