Fortnite studio Epic Games announced it will be holding a two-day event dedicated to the game in June with tickets available for pre-registration now.
The Fortnite Summer Block Party will be held at the Forum in Inglewood, California from June 15-16, two days after the end of the E3 2019 trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The first day of the event will host a Creative tournament where celebrities and streamers will battle on a new, specially designed player-made game in eight teams of four, while the second day sees the return of the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am.
Epic Games held the first Celebrity Pro-Am during E3 last year, which had 50 teams of celebrities and streamers paired up for a tournament. Participants announced for this year’s event include musicians Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Dillon Francis, Jordan Fisher, and previous Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am winner Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.
The Fortnite Summer Block Party will also feature ziplines, a pirate ship, mini golf, and eateries based on locations within the game.
Tickets for the event start at $35 with pre-registration to buy tickets available now until Monday, May 13 through Ticketmaster. Epic Games said it will be streaming both days through YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, and more.
