Can You Play Single-Player in Mordhau? Answered

Recommended Videos

Launching recently on PC, Mordhau is an ambitious multiplayer title that sees you hack and slash at other players in medieval combat. There are standard multiplayer modes and even a battle royale map for 64 players, but some are wondering if you are able to play the game on your own. Here’s everything you need to know about if you can play single-player in Mordhau.

Is There a Single-Player Campaign

As of the game’s release on April 29, 2019, there is no single-player campaign. There is also unlikely to be one added anytime in the future.

In the FAQ section of the Mordhau website, the developers have written, “We have no plans for a singleplayer campaign, as this would take quite a bit of development time. You can, however, play with bots offline and practice by yourself.”

The team that made the game is pretty small, and it seems as if they have chosen to stick to multiplayer, rather than using resources on a single-player campaign.

Of course, if the game continues to see the success that it has done in its first few days on sale, you can never say that one won’t come in the future. If that does ever happen, we’ll be sure to update you here.

Offline Play in Mordhau

There may not be a single-player campaign in the game, but you are able to play offline somewhat. Actual competitive play requires an internet connection and other players, but as stated above, you can practice against bots offline.

Playing with bots is fun, even if it won’t give you quite the same experience as an intense online match.

That’s everything you need to know about if you can play single-player in Mordhau. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
