Days Gone is upon us, another high-quality PlayStation exclusive in which to get lost. Anticipation has been high, but the wait is finally over. If you’re here you’re probably wondering if there is a new game plus mode in Days Gone. Let’s talk about that.
Is There New Game Plus in Days Gone? Answered
With a massive open world set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest, there is plenty to see and do. Aside from simply surviving the not-zombies known as Freakers, there are settlements and characters that will need your assistance and numerous side quest to engage in.
The developer, Bend Studio, has estimated it will take around 30 hours to complete the main storyline, which is a pretty hefty run time. That being said, completionists will want to see and do everything, and thus will get more mileage out of the game.
Trophy hunters, in particular, appreciate a new game plus mode. If you miss something the first time around, it’s much easier to knock out gameplay specific achievements if you have the advantage of a fully upgraded, heavily armed character.
Unfortunately, There’s no New game plus in Days Gone. Who knows it may be something that Bend adds in later via a patch, in the way that Sony Santa Monica did for God of War. Such things are always appreciated, but only time will tell.
Still, there are still missions and tasks to be done after you complete the campaign, so it’s not like you will have nothing to do. You will still be able to roam the wilderness to your heart’s content
