In the meantime, however, the full soundtrack performance from last month’s Red Bull event in Los Angeles has now been uploaded to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. You can check out the full video embedded down below.

‘Led by Red Dead Redemption 2 Original Score composer, Woody Jackson, alongside score contributors Senyawa, Colin Stetson and Petra Hayden, the multi-camera recording captures the immersive audio visual experience as Jackson and friends bring the evocative score to life.

Jackson weaved together select pieces from the score with help from experimental band Senyawa, accomplished singer Petra Hayden, saxophonist Colin Stetson and drummer Jon Theodore. All the while, the audience were treated to a unique and mesmerizing experience, featuring measured lighting and other visual effects intertwined with projected scenes from the game.’

The soundtrack was certainly one of the key aspects that helped the narrative in the game feel as weighty as it did, and the music definitely stands up well even when listening to it on its own.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
