What Sekiro’s Download & Install Size Is on PC, PS4, and Xbox One
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest RPG courtesy of FromSoftware. Assuming the role of the one-armed wolf, you’ll set off to save the young lord you swore to protect, who has been captured and kidnapped by the Ashina clan. If you were wondering what Sekiro’s download and install size is, you’re in the right place.
Currently, we’re waiting for absolute confirmation on Sekiro’s download and install size across all platforms, but we’ve done some digging around and got what appears to be the required free hard drive space you’ll need in order to install FromSoftware’s latest title.
Sekiro Install Size on PS4 – 17 GB
Sekiro has begun preloading on the PS4 for anyone who’s pre-ordered the game digitally, and players are currently reporting over on Reddit that the initial install size for Sekiro is 17gb.
Of course, it’s worth noting at this point that there could be a day-one patch that releases later this week that could increase the install size of Sekiro on PS4, Xbox One, or PC. We’ll keep our ears to the ground and let you know as soon as we hear anything on a potential size-changing update.
Sekiro Download Size on PC – 25 GB Required
As for PC players, there isn’t a specific download size for Sekiro just yet. That’s because preload doesn’t appear to have gone live on PC as of yet, and Steam only lists the required free hard drive space you need to get the game installed and ready to play.
The amount of free space required listed over on Steam is 25 GB, so chances are it’ll probably take up somewhere around the 17 GB- 20 GB mark, too. Again, we’ll update this post when we know for sure.
Sekiro Install Size on Xbox One – 12.58 GB
It’s Xbox One owners who get the lightest footprint on their hard drive for Sekiro. Shadows Die Twice looks like it’ll only take up an approximated 12.58 GB, as stated on the game’s official Microsoft store page.
Of course, it’s worth taking that with a pinch of salt, as we simply don’t know just how accurate this approximation is, but for now, we wouldn’t expect it to be a whole lot larger than that.
That’s everything you need to know about what the install size is for Sekiro. For more tips, tricks, and guides to help you and the one-armed wolf on your adventure, be sure to check out our Sekiro guide wiki.
