How to Open Chests Fast in One Piece World Seeker

Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are all about treasure, as you’d expect, and luckily One Piece World Seeker has plenty for you to find. As you explore Jail Island there’s plenty of materials to find dropped from enemies, harvested from points, or tucked away in treasure chests. Here’s how to open chests fast in One Piece World Seeker.

There are a ton of treasure chests dotted around the various locations of Jail Island in One Piece World Seeker. Each time you find a chest you’ll have to hold down triangle (Y) as a little gauge fills around the button, in order to open it. This usually takes about 15 seconds or so, which doesn’t seem like a lot of time, but can really stack up as you’re opening more and more.

Luckily, One Piece World Seeker does give you a way to open chests faster, you’ll just need to invest in a certain skill. Open your main menu and head over to the Skills tab, then look in the Explore section.

At the top of the section you’ll see “Chest Open Time Reduction,” which can be bought for 200 SP and reduces the time it takes to open chests by 25 percent. It’s definitely handy to have and you can even invest in the skill multiple times to make the time even shorter.

Keep in mind, of course, that this is simply a quality of life skill and you might first want to invest your hard-earned Skill Points in skills that’ll help with combat or traversal.

Hopefully, that tells you everything you need to know about how to open chests fast in One Piece World Seeker. Make sure to search Twinfinite for even more tips, guides, and info, and take a look at our extensive One Piece World Seeker guide wiki.
