Life After is a survival game set in a world not unlike what you’d see in DayZ or The Last of Us. There are zombies to fend off, other players to kill, and all kinds of resources to find and craft with.

Unlike most popular zombie survival games, this game is a mobile-only title with iterations available both for Android and iOS. As long as you have a phone still receiving software updates, your phone will be capable of playing this game (assuming you can get it downloaded to your device).

While Life After is popular in the West, where the game has really found an audience is in the East. This makes sense considering NetEase is one of the the East’s largest developers.

Their headquarters are in China and many of their games’ players are Chinese. Perhaps you want to jump into the more action-packed fun of the Chinese servers.

Before doing that, though, you might want to change the language of the game. Here’s how to change language in Life After.

Life After, as it stands today, is a Chinese-only game meaning you can only download this game in Chinese app marketplaces. There are some network and server tricks you can do to make this happen, but even after successfully downloading the game, you won’t be able to play the game in a language other than Chinese.

So, the answer to your question? You cannot change the language of Life After.

If you’re someone who doesn’t speak Chinese and are able to speak English, fear not: an English version of Life After is on its way.

Even if you can’t speak Chinese, though, the game is simple enough to grasp a gist of what you need to do. You might not understand the story at all, and the menus might be more difficult to manage, but it’s a zombie survival game through and through and you’ve likely played enough to know what you need to do to survive.
