Left Alive is very close to its release, and today Square Enix dropped the game’s launch trailer.
The trailer features both cutscenes and gameplay, giving a fairly extensive look at the game, its story, and its survival action.
One of the most interesting aspects of Left Alive is certainly the character design by Metal Gear Solid artist Yoji Shinkawa, which gives the game a rather unmistakable look and feel that will prove familiar to Metal Gear Solid fans. Toshifumi Nabeshima (who many know for his work on the Armored Core series) took care of the Game Director role.
As a matter of fact, it feels like Square Enix is trying to fill the gap left by the Metal Gear Solid series, and it’ll be interesting to see if they’ll be successful.
You can check out the trailer below. You can also enjoy some Wanzer mecha action from yesterday, more recent gameplay, another batch of clips, the latest TV commercial, a video focusing on the soundtrack, and the unboxing of the collector’s edition.
