How to Download & Play the Anthem VIP Demo (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Anthem’s release date is fast approaching, but EA is offering players an opportunity to try the game first. There are two upcoming demo sessions. Here’s how to download and play the Anthem VIP Demo on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
In typical EA fashion, the release schedule for Anthem’s demo is a little complicated. Importantly, the VIP demo only applies to you if you have either pre-ordered anthem, are an EA Access subscriber or be an EA Origin subscriber during the VIP demo session.
If that applies to you, then the date you need to remember is Friday, Jan. 25 to Sunday, Jan. 27.
Specifically, the demo session start times are as follows:
- East Coast US: 12 pm (EST)
- West Coast US: 9 am (PST)
- UK: 5 pm (BST)
- Europe: 4 pm (CEST)
As for how to actually access the VIP demo, it again depends on what exactly qualifies you to play it.
EA Access & Origin subscribers automatically have access to the Anthem VIP demo and do not require any sort of code. The demo is downloaded via the Origin, PlayStation, or Xbox store depending on whichever platform you’re playing it on. Simply log into it with your EA Account.
If you pre-ordered Anthem then you’ll need to get a code to download the demo. This isn’t necessarily easy since you’ll have to contact whichever retailer you bought the game from to get the code.
For anyone that does participate in the Anthem VIP demo, there’s a special in-game reward waiting for you in the full version of the game.
If you do miss out on this session, don’t worry, though, as there’s an open demo available to everyone the following weekend. It starts Friday, Feb. 1 to Sunday, Feb. 3.
That’s everything you’ll need to know about how to download and play the Anthem VIP Demo on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For more useful tips and guides on Anthem, be sure to search Twinfinite.
