Spyro Reignited: How Many Worlds There Are in Spyro 2

How Many Worlds There Are in Spyro 2 (Spyro Reignited Trilogy)

Recommended Videos

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy updates the iconic series with new graphics and few tweaks to gameplay mechanics. If you either can’t remember or are wondering if the game’s longer than the original, here’s how many worlds there are in Spyro 2.

Although the Reignited version of Spyro 2 has updated the game’s aesthetic, added some extra story beats here and there and streamlined the gameplay to feel relevant in 2018, there haven’t been any major changes to its overall structure.

When speaking to IGN last year, developer Toys for Bob co-studio head said they “basically had the entire game running, then simultaneously this [tool] is pulling numbers and data on everything: coordinates for the level mesh, the placements for every single character, for every single gem, the value of what those gems are.”

As such, the overall number of worlds in the game remains the same as the original. There are three hub worlds in Spyro 2 Ripto’s Rage and one holiday/theme park area: Summer Forest, Autumn Plains, Winter Tundra, and the theme park Dragon Shores.

Overall, there are 25 levels in the game, not including the additional activities you can do in the Dragon Shores area. We estimate the game should take you around 10 hours to beat.

Of course, you’ve got two other games to get through as well, so there’s certainly plenty of value in this awesome remastered package. For more on how long each game takes to beat, check out our How Long Each Game Takes to Beat guide.
