Spyro Reignited Trilogy rebuilds the beloved series from the ground up, which means there have been some tweaks to various gameplay mechanics, in addition to the prettier aesthetic. Here’s how to kill spiders in high caves in Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

The spiders patrolling the high cave section of the map are pesky critters, indeed. If you’re struggling to take them out then don’t feel too bad –they can’t be killed by conventional attacks. Instead, you’ll have to rely on a different tactic to get rid of them.

When you first find yourself in the high caves, your only option is to evade the spiders and make it out the other side. If you’re daring, stop off as you work your way through the caves and collect the treasure located on the ledges either side of its walls – don’t worry, they can’t attack you up there.

If you’d rather not risk it, make a beeline to the caves’ exit and work your way around the corner. Here you’ll find a statue of Ajax. Rescue him and then watch the short cutscene unfold, in which he’ll remind you that while in Supercharge mode you’re invincible. There’s your clue.

To kill the high cave spiders, find the Supercharge ramp nearby, ascend to its peak and then boost downward. Using your Supercharge, speed into the caves and hit the spiders head-on. They’ll be squished instantly as you do so.

Remember to explore the cave if you didn’t already before and grab all the treasure on offer.
