It’s Halloween, so Capcom decided to release an extra–spooky look at some classic costumes that will be wearable by Leon and Claire in the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake. You can check them both out in the trailer below. I don’t care what anyone says, the blue on Leon is a way better look.
The best part about these old-school costumes is the old-school way in which they will be delivered to players. These are unlocked in-game through some unknown method, for free. No Raccoon City, or Umbrella points required. Not even as day one free DLC. It’s just in the game, you play, maybe there’s even a a cheat code (gasp) and you get it eventually somehow.
It’s funny but also kind of sad that this is a point worth hyping up now in video games, but the industry is what it is at this point.
