Madden 19: How to Get Team Captain Tokens

How to Get Team Captain Tokens in Madden 19

Recommended Videos

Team Captain players are one of the most powerful cards you can obtain in Madden 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and now as of this year, PC. However, they don’t start off all that great. They need to be upgraded using Team Captain Tokens to reach their final 99 overall status.

You have a choice of four team captains that can join your squad right away if you want, and eventually be upgraded to 99. All four are hall of fame players, two on offense, two on defense, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. It’s more a matter of preference.

You can grab Michael Strahan and Ray Lewis on defense, or Jerry Rice or Shannon Sharpe on offense. To build them up, you need Team Captain Tokens, and if you’re here, you’re probably wondering how you can get more.

Team Captain Tokens are obtained throughout the year, there’s no way as of this writing anyway, to obtain them quick and easily. Otherwise, getting your 99 OVR player wouldn’t really be much of an accomplishment.

In order to get them, you need to check back into Madden 19 often, every week or so. There is a special timed objective that will reward you with a token that you can use to upgrade your player. Check your Objectives, and look for the section on Team Captain Tokens.

The objectives may vary, so look, see what you need to do for that, when the deadline is, and then go ahead and complete it before the objective expires. Take note of when the deadline expires, so you can return to Madden 19 and complete the next one.

Completing every Team Captain Token objective, as soon as they are up, and before the deadline, will allow your to get your captain to 99 OVR in the fastest possible way. We’re confident that you can miss a few and catch up later in the year. However, if you want it ASAP, try not to miss anyway.
