Blackout is trying to capitalize on the recent battle royale craze. The mode’s map is made up of maps from past Black Ops games, and you’ll be able to find fan-favorite weapons too. As is the case with the likes of PUBG and Fortnite, you battle to be the last person standing.

How to Play with Friends in Blackout

You can play Blackout in duos or quads, which means you can be in teams of two or four when you want to play with friends. From the menu, choose Blackout, then select either the Duos or Quads option. After that, look at the top right corner of the screen below your username, and click the + symbol to invite people on your friends list to your lobby.

How to Play with Friends in Zombies

Similar to the Blackout procedure, when you’re in a Zombies lobby, click on the + symbol in the top right corner of the screen to invite people on your friends list to your lobby.

How to Play with Friends in Multiplayer

And, similar to how it’s done in Blackout and Zombies, choose the multiplayer mode you want to play. Then, click on the + symbol in the top right corner of the screen to invite people on your friends list to your lobby. If you want to, you can connect another controller to your system, and play Zombies or multiplayer in split-screen mode.
