In this guide, we’re going to be going over how to get Artifact Fragments in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Here’s everything you need to know.

As you play through Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’re going to discover a whole lot. Your spear, for one, can be upgraded. Did you know that? The only way to do this, of course, is with some peculiar Artifact Fragments that look straight out of Isu.

Now, with them being so ancient, it’s only fair that they be rare, right? And that’s exactly what they are within the game: rare!

You won’t stumble across them all willy nilly like you would some loot or drachmae (money). No, these are only found one way: by killing cultists.

In the game, you’re going to be able to tab over to the Cultists tab in the main menu and check out a big web. A big ol’ web of death, if you will. These are the people you need to hunt down.

Once you’ve found out where they are by getting enough clues and have unveiled them, it’s time to go to them and let your blades do the talking. After you’ve defeated them in battle, either by assassination or kickin’ their butt, you have to confirm the kill.

This is done by holding triangle if you’re on PS4 or Y if you’re on Xbox One. Once the bar fills up all the way, you’re going to be able to loot them. Each one carries a legendary piece of gear, a clue for another cultist’s location, and an Artifact Fragment. Hoorah!

If you’re looking for a guide that will lead you straight to all the cultists’ locations, we have that for you over here.

That’s all there is to getting Artifact Fragments in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you need any other help with the game, check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey guide wiki over here. It’s jam-packed with tips and tricks like these:
