Recommended Videos

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest entry in Ubisoft’s popular action-adventure series. This time around, the developers are placing a larger focus on the RPG elements and open world exploration. Players will also get to choose their character at the start of the game, and experiment with dialogue options. This means that there are a few story branches to check out, giving the game some replay value. One of the coolest reveals in the game is the existence of Atlantis, the mythical underwater world. If you’re wondering how to find Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, here’s what you need to know.

Do be warned that this article contains spoilers for the hero’s father’s identity in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you don’t want to be spoiled, we advise turning back now.

How to Find the Artifacts for Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

After finding Myrinne on Naxos, she’ll give you an optional side quest to find the hero’s father. He can be found in Thera, where you have to solve a simple light puzzle to open a large door. Once inside, move through the linear path and you’ll find Pythagoras.

He reveals himself as the hero’s father, and states that it is your destiny to seal Atlantis. It’s too dangerous, and could fall into the hands of the Cult. However, in order to seal it, you’ll need four artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Pythagoras will first send you to Boeotia to find the first artifact. Simply follow your quest markers, and you’ll find the Sphinx. Answer her riddles correctly, and you’ll get the first Atlantis artifact.

Next, the other three Atlantis artifact quests can be found in Kythera, Messara, and Lesbos.

In Kythera, look for a quest titled “God Among Men,” and you’ll find the Cyclops. In Messara, look for a boy named Ardos, who gives you the quest to hunt the Minotaur. Lastly, in Lesbos, look for a quest titled “Romancing the Stone Garden.”

This leads you to Medusa, who gives you the final Atlantis artifact in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fair warning: Medusa is level 50. She’s one of the toughest enemies in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. We recommend getting to at least level 47 before attempting this tough battle.

With all four artifacts in your possession, you’re ready for the next step to find Atlantis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Where Atlantis’ Location Is in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Once you have all four artifacts, return to Pythagoras in Atlantis. You won’t actually be able to explore Atlantis, unfortunately. However, you’ll get some more lore tidbits about the modern-day story, and other information.

Completing this quest will end the side story about the hero and Pythagoras. While it’s completely optional, it’s worth doing for the experience and story exposition.
